Rules for Safe Use of Our Properties

We need all visitors to Land Conservation Foundation properties to read and follow the rules below.

You are welcome to access Land Conservation Foundation lands at your own risk. There is no guarantee of your safety.

Public access for hiking and viewing wildlife is permitted sunrise to sunset, year-round. No other uses are allowed without permission from the Land Conservation Foundation.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Biking
  • Off-road vehicles
  • Hunting
  • Weapons (guns, bows, slingshots)
  • Alcohol
  • Open fires
  • Fireworks
  • Camping
  • Pets
  • Horses
  • Trapping
  • Trotlines
  • Seining
  • Falconry
  • Dog training
  • Collecting
  • Geocaching
  • Competitive events
  • Littering or dumping
  • Sound amplifying
  • Minors without adult supervision
  • Releasing wild or domestic animals

The use of Other Power Driven Mobility Devices (OPDMDs—utility vehicles, ATVs, Segways, golf carts, etc.) on LCF property has been assessed in accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. OPDMDs are prohibited.

Beware of mosquitoes, ticks, and chiggers. Use insect repellent.

Watch for poison ivy.
